In a heartfelt video making rounds online, the singer shared the story of what happened in February 2025, calling it one of the most devastating experiences of her life.
A Painful Experience She Could Not Overlook
“In February 2025, I went through a pain that nearly broke me. I had been pregnant for over three months. One day, as I was going about my routine, I started feeling cramps,” she recounted.
She added that what started as mild discomfort quickly intensified, turning into something far more alarming.
I said, oh, okay, it was one of those things. And then, trickles of blood, I said, oh, okay, spotting. If you’re a woman who’s been pregnant before, you know what spotting refers to.”
According to her, the situation worsened when the bleeding became uncontrollable.
“And then I had the odd trips to use the washboard. And then what I thought should be urine was blood. It didn’t stop. It kept on flowing.”
Realising the Loss
The singer said she immediately understood the implication of the heavy bleeding.
“And I was devastated because I understood what that meant automatically. I had lost this baby that had gone past the three-month mark again.”
She revealed that the loss marked the sixth time she had gone through such heartbreak.
Hospital Intervention and Emotional Aftermath
Judikay revealed that she was rushed to the hospital, where doctors performed a medical procedure to manage the situation.
“And that was the sixth time. I was rushed to the hospital, and they performed a D&C because it was a missed miscarriage,” she shared.
After returning home, she initially thought she had come to terms with the loss.
“When I got home, I believed I was okay. I had cried, I had shouted, especially while they were handling the procedure,” she said.
However, she admitted that the pain returned during quiet moments, particularly at night.
“I thought I had processed it. When I got home, I said, ‘God gets the glory.’ I tried to hold onto faith, but the hurt came back in those silent moments,” Judikay added.
Silent Nights Filled with Grief
Despite her public strength, the singer admitted that the emotional toll was overwhelming in private.
“But then in the silence of the night, I would experience pain that I could not express with words. I would wail and cry and say, Jesus, where are you?”
